Oh,I have been wanting to ask you a question about the show; do the main cast play the music themselves?If I'm not wrong, one of the orchestra is real but other than that, I'm just wondering if they played the music themselves
As far as I've heard, Ueno Juri (who plays Nodame) studied piano in high school and Tamaki Hiroshi (Chiaki) did his best to learn piano, violin and conducting for the role. A lot of the other background actors instead studied intensively about how to look like they were playing or were real orchestra people. Either way, not knowing how to play these instruments myself, they had me entirely convinced!
