YES I'M SO HAPPY! They totally pulled off a movie where fans of the franchise and people viewing the movie completely independently have THE EXACT SAME FEELINGS. Which is pretty just I LOVE IT AND WHEN IS THE NEXT ONE?
Also it's nice to know I wasn't the only one sort of tearing up in the cold open. IT WAS SO SAD. And little Kirk with the car!
Yes! It's good to hear it's not just me either! I felt like maybe I'm a little overly emotional but they just really got me with the PRETTY and the MUSIC and the NOBLE SACRIFICE.
SPOCKY ILU BB! Seriously, Zachary Quinto: why so odd looking and yet so sexy? Right? He's makes control and restraint so sexy! (Note: Edward Cullen, don't even try it.) Zachary Quinto as Spock totally won my heart in this movie, even though I loved all the characters. I really need more of them all being a crew ASAP. And like, on my TV every week. XD
And I'm a little obsessed with Spock/Uhura OTP4LYFE at the moment. I'M A LITTLE CONCERNED THEY'VE EATEN MY BRAIN. I could not fall asleep last night, mulling them over in particular. And now I've discovered spock_uhura and goodness knows what's going to happen to my free time. XD
