Okay, I came across redbrunja's post about colorbars and inspiration struck. ...But not really in the text department, so if you have any other ideas feel free to leave them in the comments. If you need them resized, I could do that too.

Also, these are going to break my LJ layout but I don't felt like fixing that at the moment. XD

As rabidline pointed out, I love how you didn't even need to edit the pictures to make them rainbowy.

Thank you, bb! You're so kind to me. Those are my favorite kind of colorbars to make. I know it's 'in' to make sleeker, non-rainbow colorbars but I adore bright colors too much.

I miss these two too. For being such a 'non-canon' couple, there were way to many good moments for me to use. I mean, I didn't even get to work in their fight scenes as much as I wanted!

You're welcome! I'm usually trying to capture what I like about Zuko/Katara in the fanworks I make, so I'm glad it worked for you too. I'll never get tired of these two threatening each other and then being really supportive allies. ;) They're just... well-matched. They can take each other on.

It doesn't hurt that they have the best scenes- great materials for making banners and icons :D Zutara is visually attractive like that :)

Oh! You're right, I meant to credit that quote! It's from the (fantastic) Amelia Peabody book series, specifically The Mummy Case, by Elizabeth Peters. The actual wording is "Marriage, in my view, should be a balanced stalemate between equal adversaries." There isn't any marriage in Avatar, but I think it still applies. ;)

Beautiful colour bars! :) I finally decided to grab #4 and will credit. I really like how you didn't have to manipulate the colours and how nicely they flow together. The quote is also a perfect fit.

The quote, which I should have mentioned in the first place, is adapted from the Amelia Peabody book series by Elizabeth Peters. Ooh, yes, I would definitely recommend giving Amelia Peabody a read! The books are historical mystery/romance, set in 1880s Egypt. I would rec them to anyone though because the main character is so awesome. She's a very independent, take charge woman, who keeps up a great witty commentary no matter what she's doing. Plus the romantic pairing is pleasantly combative and challenging, hence my applying a quote to Zuko/Katara. :D The first book in the series is "Crocodile on the Sandbank", by the way. I would definitely read that one first. I often call Amelia Peabody my preferred "beach reading" because it's so fun (and generally lighthearted) to read. <3
