Okay, I came across
redbrunja's post about colorbars and inspiration struck. ...But not really in the text department, so if you have any other ideas feel free to leave them in the comments. If you need them resized, I could do that too.
Also, these are going to break my LJ layout but I don't felt like fixing that at the moment. XD

Date: 2008-11-25 11:18 pm (UTC)I love how the 2nd to last banners have that 'rainbow' quality without being.. rainbowy.
Taking the first one! Will credit if used ;)
Aww. I missed these two. And looking at your colorbars- wow. Their relationship is very versatile.
THE FISHIES 8D

Date: 2008-11-26 12:02 am (UTC)Thank you, bb! You're so kind to me. Those are my favorite kind of colorbars to make. I know it's 'in' to make sleeker, non-rainbow colorbars but I adore bright colors too much.
I miss these two too. For being such a 'non-canon' couple, there were way to many good moments for me to use. I mean, I didn't even get to work in their fight scenes as much as I wanted!
HA, the fishies were a last-minute addition! IT'S CHEESY BUT THEY'RE CUTE.

OH YES.
It doesn't hurt that they have the best scenes- great materials for making banners and icons :D Zutara is visually attractive like that :)

Date: 2008-11-25 11:53 pm (UTC)I AM DISAPPOINTED IN MYSELF FOR NOT HAVING A ZUTARA ICON IN THIS ACCOUNT. STUPID 15 USERPIC LIMIT.As rabidline pointed out, I love how you didn't even need to edit the pictures to make them rainbowy.
There is a ridiculous amount of love here. For you and the ship. ♥♥♥♥♥♥

Date: 2008-11-26 12:32 am (UTC)WHAT KIND OF SELF-RESPECTING ZUTARA FAN ARE YOU! D:Yay! I had a good time working on these. The show does provide a wide range of pretty. (Shh, though I actually pumped up the colors to make it more rainbowy.)
Thank you for the loooove, bb! <3

Date: 2008-11-26 09:45 pm (UTC)Zuko/Katara certainly had enough scenes for the whole spectrum! Thank you, end-of-season-three, for all the pretty. <3
YAAAY THE KOI! I COULDN'T RESIST. IT'S A LITTLE CHEESY BUT HO MAN, ZUTARA IS SO YIN AND YANG.

Date: 2008-11-27 08:44 pm (UTC)And the koi fish! :) Those are a cute touch.
OK, I'll stop gushing now. Thank-you for making them available! :)

Date: 2008-12-03 08:46 pm (UTC)I'm glad you thought everything worked! I meant to make different arrangements of scenes but once this "rainbow" came together, I had a tough time changing things! And I <3 those (somewhat cheesy) little koi fish!
Thanks again for the snag/credit!

Date: 2009-01-27 08:27 pm (UTC)Cheesy as it may be, I couldn't resist adding the KOI OF SYMBOLIC BALANCE. <3

Date: 2009-01-26 07:38 am (UTC)Also, love the 'love should be a balanced stalemate between equal adversaries'. WHERE IS THAT QUOTE FROM??
Btw. I'm not watching you/have friended you. You are a gorgeous iconmaker! And can't believe i've never heard of you!! (I've seen your icons before though).

Date: 2009-01-27 08:24 pm (UTC)The quote, which I should have mentioned in the first place, is adapted from the Amelia Peabody book series by Elizabeth Peters. In the novel The Mummy Case, the aforementioned character remarks "Marriage, in my view, should be a balanced stalemate between equal adversaries." I've always liked that.
Thanks again for the nice comment! <3

Date: 2009-01-27 08:55 pm (UTC)Wow, I'm going to have to look up the book the next time I'm at the library. Did you like it?
No problem, your work deserves nice comments!

Date: 2009-01-27 09:12 pm (UTC)Ooh, yes, I would definitely recommend giving Amelia Peabody a read! The books are historical mystery/romance, set in 1880s Egypt. I would rec them to anyone though because the main character is so awesome. She's a very independent, take charge woman, who keeps up a great witty commentary no matter what she's doing. Plus the romantic pairing is pleasantly combative and challenging, hence my applying a quote to Zuko/Katara. :D The first book in the series is "Crocodile on the Sandbank", by the way. I would definitely read that one first. I often call Amelia Peabody my preferred "beach reading" because it's so fun (and generally lighthearted) to read. <3
