I actually made this mix right before the second season started airing but it wound up sitting around due to my dissatisfaction with the cover art. I think the mix has actually come to work well with S2, so I decided I might as well put it out there in honor of the new eps. I know some of these songs have been used on other TSCC mixes but the playlist is too set in my mind to change. ;) I tried to pick songs that fit the Terminator soundscape as established by Bear McCreary but you'll have to judge how well I did yourself! Enjoy!

Nice! I immediately downloaded the cover of Garbage's "Metal Heart" because I've always thought that song worked well for them, although I think I prefer Shirley Manson. Because she is awesome. Downloading the rest!

Yeah, I prefer the Garbage version myself! But I figured I'd use a different version just to mix things up. Plus, I'm a sucker for having male voices for male characters and vice versa... even though I never manage stick to it.

Thank you! I spent so long staring and adding/subtracting things and reevaluating the cover art that I kind of lost perspective on the project. ...Although I might now like the back art better but I think that's because Summer is super hot. XD

Annnd I have to read all your fanfic now. I've totally been out of the fandom loop trying not to spoil myself.

Okay, so I meant to comment on this ages ago, but I downloaded this mix and I officially LOVE YOU for it. I don't even watch this show, but 'No Signs of Pain' is like my new favorite song and thank god you reminded me of 'Metal Heart' because I ganked the title for a HIMYM fic and it is so, so perfect.

When I first got into that song, I must have listened to it on loop for days. Azure Ray has such a gorgeous, rich sound.

And wow, it hadn't occurred to me how well the phrase 'Metal Heart' ties in with the Barney = robot = doesn't love idea. Nice!
