topazera1) In the spirit of renewed lj posting, I've been thinking I should do a little series of posts related to the dramas I have been watching/recently finished lately! (The only problem is I usually either want to make a giant pimp post of my love or have nothing to contribute but keysmashing so who knows what will win out! [People who know me might have some guesses. ;)]) Like all series of mine, it will probably not be done in a very timely manner but I thought posting about it might help. :)
2) ...Welcome, "new" friends from the jdrama friending meme! We are really getting off on thehonest about my posting tendencies right foot! :)
3) Happy Birthday to Me! I say this not to troll for congratulations but to give ambitious people who keep track of these things a place to say hi. ♥ Plus, it would be a little weird to post and not mention it. XD And also, Happy Belated Birthday to Yoko! I decided long ago that I had too many birthday posts just trying to do all of Arashi this year but Yoko came SO SO close to making me reverse that position. I just adore that kid and could talk about him for a while if I got started. YOKO. ♥
4) A poll! I've been toiling in my usual pattern, which is to finish about 70-90% of project and then move onto the next one without completing it. So, I thought I'd throw out just the drama icons I've worked on and see if anyone had thoughts about what they'd like to see:

Although I make no guarantee I will actually finish those next, as they are all in various states, it might be good motivation! There's also two projects (one of which is not at all Asian, gasp!) that I didn't put on this list that I am absolutely determined to finish in the next week or two. Hopefully all this ambition will not vanish like smoke. :DD

I really want to write about ProDai but that's definitely another show where my first instinct is to have to make a huge pimp post that will take a lot of time. Or just post a cap of Yamapi with the caption of "You see! This is the brilliance of the show. Always keep them running." We'lllll seeeeeee. :D

LOL, my icons of Yamanade would be like, five of Sunako being pretty/creepy, one million shippy ones, a few of Tegoshi unhinging his jaw and flaring his nostrils and one of Kato Seishiro-kun. What I'm saying is: I totally will not accurately represent that drama. XD

WELL, SINCE YOU SAID SO: 1) If you have enough thoughts, I just caught up with Doctor Who and um, we've never discussed it but Amy/Eleven gives me a lot of ~feelings~. No matter how cool they make Rory, I will still have ~feelings~, sorry guys. Plus I totally do not associate with the general fandom so I love when things appear on my flist. XD or 2) I am another person who does not hate S3 GG so we could totally utilize this and you could make a S3 GG mix if you're inspired! I will accept Blair/Chuck, Serena/Nate (omg PUPPIES! I was one MILLION percent won over by them dating. I have never been so behind a relationship for either of them. :D Um, more please, S4?), NJBC or all three combined. Doctor Who! I have many, many feelings about Eleven/Amy and how they're like the new Doctor/Rose for me and how I want them to make out and be adorable together. Also doesn't help that Matt Smith and Karen Gillian are totally the cutest and make me one of those creeper RL shippers. Sadly I only have a few songs that fit them (although many FEELINGS!) but we will have to talk about Doctor Who soon!
YAY! I'm so happy you liked s3 of GG too. I think that makes like....two of us? WHATEVER GG FANDOM. Shut your mouths. (I have so much increasing hate, not for GG, but for the fandom. OMG shut uppppp fandom! You are ruining everything fun about this show with your whining.)
But I do actually have a whole notepad file called FANMIX IDEAS and they are almost entirely of the Gossip Girl variety. So expect a Chuck/Blair fanmix within the next couple days. I've had most of the mix sitting on my computer for months now but you finally motivated me to put it together and make coverart so thanks! I'll link you when I post it! I hope you'll like it. I just have to figure out song order (which is way harder than I thought it would be? Fanmixology is complicated business!)
PS: LIAR GAME! I loved all the over the top acting and the direction was actually ridic with all the overly dramatic cuts and nonsense. That show was a constant state of lulz.

Hahaha, I know, I watched so many behind the scenes vids on YouTube one night. It's not our fault they seem to entertain each other by flirting all the time. So far I'm theorizing Matt Smith's crush on Karen Gillan: TRUE.

Re: PPS - YES, AGREED. Oh oh AND guess what? I got tickets to the Brooklyn Stars concert! Of course, like an idiot, I waited until they were sold out to look for them earlier in the month. But I've been checking StubHub and caught a good deal, so yessssss, I am going. Are you doing both shows like you were considering? :D
Anyway, we should definitely meet up that day! (Especially since I don't know where this is in Brooklyn. XD) If you don't have other plans, we should totally get dinner before the show. :)

Plus it's easier for me to let it go for some reason knowing Rose is out there with her own Tennant having fun adventures. :) I totally think of Eleven as his own guy too though! YAY!!!! That's awesome! That's the one I got tickets too! I was considering doing either the one or Thursday or the one on Saturday also but I never ended up getting tickets so I think I'll just be doing the Friday one. Which is fine because STARS! I'm so excited!
