Do you happen to know Conrad Kreyling? There's a similar coincidental meeting there. He's a close friend/roommate of one of my high-school friends and befriended your group of friends (Kim in particular, I think?) at Otakon. Cons.

Well, I'm a Jersey local. ;) I live about 40 minutes outside the city but take the bus in some weekends. Who can resist when living near NYC?

I'm glad you've met Conrad so that little story of mine had some significance. We just run in similar circles, apparently! After learning that he and Kim knew each other, I guess I shouldn't be so surprised that I happened to meet you but I have to say, I still am!

Oh, a fellow Jerseyan! I'm always too quick to assume everyone I meet in the city is a New Yorker, though you come much closer to qualifying than I do. :D I live in Boonton, if you're familiar with Northern NJ.

Definitely friending back! Of course I love the concept of The Middleman but seeing quotes floating around LJ was what really drew me in. Man, that's some fantastically stylish dialogue.

Ha, I usually wind up playing the "Let's figure out how far from each other we live!" game with anyone from NJ. Often it winds up in googling. :D
