Ha, I say the same thing to phrenk! She watches dramas faster than I do and I'm always swayed by her enthusiastic picspamming. IT'S A DRAMA PANDEMIC. I finally got down to only sloooowly watching Love Shuffle and Coffee Prince, plus rewatching Nodame, so I decided I could add another show. <3
Pride is adorable! I'm a big fan of team camardarie and the romance is surprisingly grown-up. There's a lot of banter and eye-sex and conversations. Like, the main couple just talks about their issues and what's going on with them. That doesn't always happen in dramas! Queen! We all know that I love Japanese shows that have a love affair with old music! Oh man, this show loves old music almost as much as Love Shuffle! I mean, the characters don't burst into song but they do play about four Queen songs per ep. And "I Was Born to Love You" is incorporated into the score. <3 <3 <3 JAPAN, THERE'S A REASON YOU'RE MY FAVORITE.
