[22] Katara/Zuko Avatar icons. From some art done by the animation director of The Southern Raiders for a Book 2 release event. Image procured by the awesome primuler, our contact in South Korea! :D Thanks!



I think this art is gorgeous and so, more icons from me. When I found out it was drawn by the animation director of The Southern Raiders, it all made so much sense. An episode dedicated to establishing a friendship between Katara and Zuko! Where they were already animated looking a little older! The exact same color palette as the ending scene! No wonder he drew them up some Future!Art. (And of course, right after I finished these, the image came out in a slightly higher quality. Because I'm impatient. XD Damn, that would have saved me some time.)

Oh my god you recognize Brick. Ilu. Hard.

I have a theory that now that Zooey Deschanel and Ben Gibbard are engaged, he has to write a frickin' happy song. He never. Ever. Does. Ever. The Sound of Settling so boppy and happy sounding and its abou the most depressing thing ever.

But yes, the lyrics work perfectly. :)

Brick rocked my socks. I love the dialogue! Joseph Gordon-Levitt playing lead didn't hurt.

How could you not write bubbly, happy songs when you're engaged to Zooey Deschanel? Sorry, Ben Gibbard, I can no longer believe your life is only made up only of angst! ;)

Hee, I totally bounce along to "The Sound of Settling" and then some days the lyrics just hit me afresh and it's like "Oh, right." It's deceptive like that!
