See, it's your descriptions of the individual members that make me interested in learning more. I'm curious about Ohno's obsession with fishing and dorkiness and what elusive quality Aiba possesses to warrant "It's AIBA." Though I'm a little afraid that I'll never feel the same way about Matsujun again! I kind of like associating him with the first character I saw his as. XD

I've been having all these thoughts about making all sorts of posts re: Arashi and your nascent feelings have given me the extra impetus needed to put some plans into motion! I'm very curious about these plans and hope they remain in motion! I feel like I'm just close enough to feel the tug of a RAINBOW blackhole and most of me wants to go get sucked in. Even though a little voice says YOU'LL DIIIIIE WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO YOUR FREE TIME THEN?
(etc. There is really no good way to say that, because ASIA is GIGANTIC, and what I really mean is Japan, Korea, Taiwan, a little bit of China, perhaps, blah blah blah.) I wish there was a name for just the portion of Asia that produces dramas! The term 'Asia' just encompasses too large a swath of the world, especially since I'm mostly talking about tiny islands and peninsulas. Or, yes, I agree. XD
I'm pretty good at sequestering myself when I know I'm likely to get unhappy. I often feel like it's better for me to sequester myself to some degree, both to prevent my feelings from being stomped on and avoid doing the same to other people. It's why I usually don't belong to the main comm of any fandom and instead find a smaller character or pairing place to hang out. But sometimes my love for something is better expressed to NO ONE because I'm just taking enjoyment where I find it, whether that's dumping things I don't care for or snarking on it.
like when I made Mei-chan picspams and didn't realize that people took the show so much more seriously than I did ..Is it wrong that I immediately went "Ooh, snarky feelings!" and went over to folderdropping to read? XD I didn't think it was anything overly harsh but that's probably because I agreed. I really enjoyed Mei-chan but the love interests are like Sano and Nakatsu but lamer. But yes, I can see how you might have accidentally stepped on people's toes.
(What are YOUR nominations, anyway??) HAHAHA, I was wondering if anyone was going to notice that! I sometimes feel ill-qualified to recommend dramas I like to strangers! Which is pretty ironic given that the posts with the most comments on my lj are all "HERE'S THE REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD WATCH THIS SHOW" pimp posts. :) If I support something, I sometimes feel responsible when someone doesn't mesh well with it. I should probably go your route and just suggest things I want to watch but haven't seen so I don't have that problem. I am not impulsive, I overthink these things way too much!
