More wallpapers! On my last Gantz wallpaper post I said that if people wanted to see some other H 2011.03 images as wallpapers, I'd give it a shot. I got some takers so you get some more wallpapers!




(The titles are just a way to keep the different versions straight in my head. Mostly lyrics from the songs I was listening to while making them so I thought it might be fun to keep them this time!)

Notes: Ah, the most outrageously sexual picture of a fully clothed Nino! ;) For bamcycle! Thanks so much for the request! I had a lot of fun working on it, I wasn't sure my blending skills would up to par but it was a nice challenge!

2. umare kawatta

Notes: This isn't as smoothly textured as the others since it really isn't meant to be this big but I don't care! SO PRETTY. HIS HAND ON THE SWORD EDGE. *___*

Notes: And a big thanks you to kartenshi_09 for asking for this one! I actually thought I wasn't going to have any interesting ideas for it and now it has the most variations. :)

Notes: Vaguely translated as "mission start". (There are slight discrepancies on the 1920 versions of the next couple because I didn't want to blow up the text elements too much.)

Notes: My current desktop. ♥ I just really like this one. :) (The title is unrelated! The text on the wallpaper is pulled off of the Gantz ball during the film, I just didn't know what this text says. :) I'd of course appreciate if anyone passing by who can read it would tell me. ♥)

Notes: LOLOLOL! So I was making the previous wallpaper and being like "Huh, I'm kind of referencing The Social Network poster, aren't I?" So this had to happen. I actually have not seen The Social Network and in fact dislike its casting practices and treatment of women... but I like the poster. XD And this made me LOL as I worked on it so it's a POST IT! :DD

3f. the gantz network II

Notes: The other half of the offer by Gantz but it doesn't use the word 'friends' so it's the less funny parody. XD

If anyone needs a resolution that isn't just the same aspect ratio made smaller, give me a shout and I'd be happy to help!

So my brain kind of fizzled out for a moment when I perceived the glory that is Nino's hand on the edge of his sword in high resolution. Hence I will never dare to actually use this wallpaper ever. IT IS A COMPLIMENT, I SINCERELY HOPE YOU UNDERSTAND. ;____;

Yeah, form-fitting = gooood but form-fitting also equals 'their form is trapped in there with no discernible way to get out, I don't think I can even find the zipper'. :DD

The Social Network ones are great! I dunno if it would end up working, but is it ok if I used that as an icon?

Also, the film's treatment of women is ok I thought, some of the characters treat women poorly in it, but they are all portrayed as dicks... so it mostly just shows how jerky some guys can be. I recommend it!

Thanks! Hahaha, once I had that thought, I just had to make it! :D Yeah, that design is tough to work in icon size, especially since Nino's face isn't as shadowed. I gave it a try though, if you want to use one of these! :)



Yeah, I've heard that the writing is really good and I do like Aaron Sorkin's work in the past! Re: the women in the film, I think I more take issue with the fact that some people have gone around saying that this is "the film that represents our generation"... when it doesn't have substantial women and is in fact about privileged, white dudes. XD I'll probably see it whenever it hits DVD so I can form my own opinion! :)
