Seriously, it's so hard to keep in mind that the American event happened so many days before the Japanese national release. Whaaaat. So your planning fail seems totally reasonable!
DO ITTTT! I am obviously still in FINGERS CROSSED mode but just a comment from someone loosely connected to the distributor and the avalanche of WOW WAS THAT EVER A CRAPPY DUB comments on the internet following the release has me tentatively hopeful. I really hope they do show Part 1 in a broader theatrical release and that was a (successful, I hope!) test run!
I knew the dub would be shit the minute they said they were doing it simply because the timing just...wasn't there. I know, we could've and um, did, tell them that. XD
UNF, I have seen previews from the Visual Book and MY GOD! That whole thing really needs to get into my eyes ASAP. *__*
