Abject horror!

Just thought I'd share a bit of disturbingness I discovered a bit ago, for anyone who doesn't know. As any Harry Potter fan might, I've been following the casting for the next movie a bit. Then I gazed upon this seemingly innocent picture of new Dumbledore. But scanning the staff table... next to Snape.... oh dear lord, what have they done to Lupin? Is it not bad enough that they cast they creepy guy from Dragonheart? (Instead of say, my lovely Faramir, David Wenham, whom I'm now convinced would have made an excellent Lupin, but that's just me.) Must they now make him a creepy used car salesman from the 1930s too? Oh, the MUSTACHE! He is the visual equivalent David MOO, the dub voice actor for Xelloss himself! Well, I've completely given up hope. My fangirl dreams have been crushed. Now they'll cast some old ugly guy as Remy and just put me in an early grave!

I would have used that for my current icon, but me and tinamond have this lovely little exchange going! I was so very entertained by her contribution that I played with a bit in Photoshop. Hope ya don't mind Meg! I have been forever branded as Gollum... just because I happen to eat a clementine like it's a fish. What? It's juicy sweeeeet! (Sorry, sorry, that was Dad-worthy ^_^;) Don't fear, I have not forsaken my role as Merry yet though! Okay, less ramble, more nap!

I don't mind that you touched it up at all. I have no photoshop, and therefore my editing ability is limited. I'm glad you liked it though, it seemed like such an appropriate quote for that picture.


Oh. And he's not Lupin. He's his evil twin. The secret will be revealed halfway through the movie.

I'm not a fan of changing the plot, but for this... I could make an exception.

Howe did you learn to do all these LJ things? Like links and such. I have been trying to figure it out for MONTHS! MONTHS I TELL YOU! You'll have to explain to me. Oh. And come get your presents, they are sitting in my room.

Well, I'll tell you a secret. Actually, I'm lazy, so I downloaded a client on to my computer that I use to do those updates to my lj. But the code is actually really easy! I just.. umm, don't type it. And I'll come by your room, but I want to talk to my parents now! So, later? Oh yeah, maybe I should sign onto AIM... ^_^

I just go to the FAQ. The html to link to other people's journals is this: [lj user="PERSON'S USER NAME"], but using < and > rather than the brackets.

This is good stuff to know.
